WHITEVOID_001 - "Bandido Blanco" features an original track on Side A that provides a sonic intervention on the white-washing of American dance music through the revisionist use of late 90's white suburban rave tropes. Born and raised in Brooklyn's Sunset Park, Metropol's "Bandido Blanco" is a personal means of making sense of the cultural flattening dance music culture has endured in suburban rave culture and internet-based visual economies. On Side B 703 plays the role of the “Bandito Blanco” with a self-conscious Euro-trance club mix.
